“The person who can keep a secret may be wise, but they are not half as wise as the person with no secrets to keep.” ~ E.W. Howe
The most challenging way to live is to live without God. Once we are reborn, it becomes pretty easy to live the kingdom life. This promise remains true if we earnestly pay attention to God’s warnings and don’t keep secrets.
It’s easy to imagine the kingdom of God as some glamorous mountain that is too high for us ever to reach, but by God’s grace, we do arrive there and quickly discover that it’s not a mountain at all but merely level ground.
As a disciple, when you genuinely witness Jesus, consider yourself challenged to try and doubt Him. When God’s promises start to materialize, and God’s promises always materialize, try to stop and question the person of Jesus. You won’t be able to do it. When you are in the presence of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is alive in you, there is no way for you to deny the presence of God.
The cross and resurrection grant us the grace to live life to the fullest and experience God’s acceptance, including our warts, pimples, and all. This list of promises also includes many kingdom rewards, kingdom revelation, lifelong friendships, kingdom community, kingdom peace, joy, love, and the ability to test our faith against His promises. Embrace the kingdom life, don’t keep secrets, and prepare your soul to receive and enjoy countless kingdom promises.
