The Twisted Perception of Rejection
January 15, 2023
Hello Kingdom Family,
Welcome to our Jesus-centered community. We are glad you are listening to today’s message. “We are People Helping People Experience a Jesus-centered Life.”
Today we return to our message series “Romans: I Am Not Ashamed of the Gospel.” Our Scripture reading is Romans 9:1-5, and today’s message is “The Twisted Perception of Rejection.” We look at how Israel, Jewish Christians, and 21st Christians have had a pattern of assuming God has rejected them, and they, in turn, have rejected God. We review how Jesus was rejected by everyone, including his family, and the promises of God when we desire the Kingdom of God over the world system.

Welcome to our 2022 Ash Wednesday message titled “Take Your Garbage To The Curb.” In our time today, we unpack Psalm 51:1-17, and what it means to take personal inventory, confess our junk, and move our garbage to the curb, where the “Holy Garbage Collector,” named Jesus, can remove your garbage forever. Jesus can’t haul off our garbage if we aren’t willing to bring it to the curb.
