“There is only one caste… the caste of humanity. There is only one religion… the religion of love. There is only one language… the language of the heart.” ~ Sathya Sai Baba
Have you ever heard of the word caste? Not the word used to reference someone wearing a cast due to an injury, but as a means of determining human value, rights, and privilege. The world system puts every human life into different categories. Within those categories, we have limited rights, freedoms, and human value based on our categories’, e.g., skin color, family lineage, gender, skills, economics, zip code, education, talents, etc. Unfortunately, we are not equal, and we don’t all enjoy the same value, rights, and privileges. Equality is extinct in the world system.
The world system has implemented various systems throughout history to manage the world, e.g., capitalism, communism, socialism, and caste. None of them are fully efficient because they are all missing one key ingredient: love. No matter what rules, regulations, and privileges exist, they are compromised if there is no love. These world systems force others into different categories, resulting in a “us vs. them” society.
God did not create the world to operate in this manner. On the contrary, God created the world with the plan of everyone living in peace and harmony, not divided, with every person and nation adamant to have it their way at all cost, sparing no expense. Therefore, the world system is not of God, and no method of government can legitimately claim that God is on their side, but yet they all do. If a single person is cast aside, oppressed, or marginalized, then it’s not from God, and love is absent. There is no leader, preacher, or teacher worth their weight who can open the Word of God with any integrity and argue differently.
The world system is not God’s system because God’s plan includes justice, righteousness, and peace for all people, not only a select few. If we claim to believe and follow a God of love, then we should not rest during our earthly existence until every single person experiences the Kingdom of God. In the Kingdom of God, love is the only thing that matters. We have one commandment, it’s called the love commandment, and that commandment says we are to love God, love others, and change the world.
If you want the world to change, let it begin with you by committing the rest of your life to live out God’s love commandment, so you can help usher in the Kingdom of God. Anything less is of the world system and a colossal waste of time. Quit chasing your tail and start putting your will in line with God’s will. It’s only when you put your will in line with God’s that you will ever begin to use it the way it was always intended.
What method of government in the world system do you endorse? How is it working? Are people left out, oppressed, and marginalized? Are people still forced into categories and possibly experiencing punishment or death to maintain this method of government?
What will it take for you to stop putting your faith in the world system and start putting it where it belongs, with God? God is calling you to dwell in the Kingdom of God and to start practicing the love commandment in all your affairs.
God of love, peace, and harmony. You call on the world to obey the love commandment, yet we rebel and fall prey to the delusion that our way is best. We delude ourselves with the fantasy that the world would be perfect if we could only manage it well and if everyone would embrace our system of government. Please help us remove the eye blinders, ear muffs, and shackles that prevent us from seeing, hearing, and doing Your will. May Your will not ours always materialize, now and forever. Amen.
