Already Not Yet; We Are The Future
October 10, 2021
Hello Kingdom Family,
Together, we’ll lean into the intended diversity of God’s Kingdom and learn from Jesus’ teaching about what the Kingdom of Heaven is like and how it offers a blueprint for a life of radical love today.
What comes to mind when you think about the future, say fifty years from now? Think about how much has changed in the world over the last one hundred years. What science and secularism have to say about the future is one thing, but what Jesus had to say about the future is what’s most important of all.
Jesus came into this world to announce the coming of the Kingdom of God and to heal people. Jesus became the example of what it means to follow God’s will or live a Jesus-centered life. Today in our message titled “Already Not Yet; We Are The Future,” Pastor Harold unpacks what the future looks like for those who are entirely devoted followers of Jesus Christ and doing their best to live a Jesus-centered life.
Shalom,
Team Hill-Tran

God’s Kingdom was designed to be radically inclusive and diverse – on earth as it is in Heaven. In today’s message, we unpack Matthew 18:21-35, Matthew 13:47-50, and Matthew 13:31-33. When anyone says you should do this or try this, a typical response is, “what’s it’s like.” When it comes to the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus gives many examples of what it’s like and what he means by on earth as in Heaven. In today’s message, we will unpack several of these parables and discover how our lives as Kingdom people should be a preview of Heaven.

God’s Kingdom was designed to be radically inclusive and diverse – on earth as it is in Heaven. In today’s message, we unpack Acts 2:1-13, what the Church’s birth represented, what happened to lead to the division we are experiencing today in the Church, and what actions we can take to get back to the original Church, living a Jesus-centered life, by following a Jesus-looking God.
