“Dangerous Jesus” – Spoken Word
April 9, 2023
Hello Kingdom Family,
Welcome to our Jesus-centered community. We are glad you are listening to today’s message. “We are People Helping People Experience a Jesus-centered Life.”
Welcome to Easter 2023. Most of our service was centered on reading the Gospel of Luke 24 and confirming our confirmands. Our main message was this video titled “Dangerous Jesus,” Spoken Word, by a friend and mentor, Urband D.
Urban D.’s “Dangerous Jesus” Spoken Word is inspired by KB’s book “Dangerous Jesus.” So many people have misrepresented the real Jesus for so long that people have settled for an imitation version. The real Jesus was Dangerous to the status quo of religious leaders, politicians, and oppressors. We pray this spoken word will inspire you to search for the truth and get to know Him…

Welcome to our Jesus-centered community. We are glad you are listening to today’s message. “We are People Helping People Experience a Jesus-centered Life.” Today we remember Good Friday, but participating in our Gospel of John, Chapters 17 – 19, meditation. You are encouraged to dim your lights, light a candle, and engage your imagination. You are invited to imagine yourself among the disciples, hearing the words of Jesus and experiencing the emotions of the others around you. You walk with Jesus as he undergoes trial and is sentenced to die by crucifixion. Imagine being there, hearing Jesus’s claim to being the Son of God, and that he will go away but come back. You should identify with the unbelief, doubts, fear, grief, and astonishment of the events unfolding before their eyes.

Welcome to Easter Sunday 2021. Today’s message was two parts. Part One: 2021 The Year of the Resurrected Church. We discussed the state of the BIG C Church and our personal context. How COVID-19 has impacted the church, and what challenges the church faces moving forward. Part Two: Hope In The Resurrected Jesus. We discussed Romans 6:1-14 and the state of our already but not yet glorified soul and body in Jesus Christ as children of God. Many Christians assume their soul’s transformation will happen at their death and fail to understand that their transformation starts when they surrender and experience the Risen Jesus.
