“Ends are not bad things; they just mean that something else is about to begin. And many things don’t end, anyway; they just begin again in a new way. Ends are not bad, and many ends aren’t an ending; some things are never-ending.”

As 2020 comes to a close, it’s a year that none of us will ever forget. COVID-19, political divide, and social unrest topped the headlines and impacted all of us in some way. If we don’t learn anything from this past year to improve our lives in 2021 and beyond, we have failed as a person, community, state, country, and global society. Lord, please help us reflect on 2020 and be better together in all Your ways moving forward in 2021 and beyond.
We have all watched people’s lives cut short due to this pandemic, and unfortunately, this nasty culprit is still rearing its ugly head. If you had it to do over again, what would you do differently? How can you step into 2021 in a way that will make a big difference for everyone instead of thinking only of yourself? Lord, broaden my focus in 2021 to be continually thinking of others so that You will not mine be done.
